    Information Needed Please
I have just bought my first ever Killies, a pair of Nothobranchius rubripinnis and i was wondering if anyone has information on keeping them. My ph is at 7 and has a temprature of 25 celsius. I know that some killies do not like a strong current in the water is this true for Nothobranchius rubripinnis also. Any advice would be gratfully accepted. They are both about 1/2 an inch long. Thanks

    Hello

    N. rubripinnis can be very sensitive to velvet so keep the tank clean. Regarding water movement and filtration, the tank needs a good filter that is not going to create too much current. At no time do the fish want to swim againste a current.

Feeding is straight forward: blood worm, tubifex, daphnia etc.. frozen or live. I'm sure on of the Singapore locals will be able to tell you what foods are available (assuming you are form Singapore). I would do a 25% water change once per week.

For spawning, go see my website where there are a couple of articles lying about....

Your temperature and pH seem fine to me.

Do you know which strain you have?

    good luck
