Help me to identify these two plants. I thought they are java fern but their stems are long. The plants are about 2 fts tall. The two pictures were taken from the front and the side of the tank.

I got them from C328 two weeks ago. I was looking for java ferns and the lady boss took out these from the back of the shop and asked me whether I would be interested. They looked good for my 2.5 ft height tank and I bought two. I asked her whether these tall plants came in often, she said yes.

All the java fern pictures I saw were small and with short stems and these 2 plants are different, so I posted the question on the plant ID.

By the way, I am thankful to the forumers who directed me to C328. It was a pleasant experience, the lady boss was so helpful and I will go there more often despite the long distance.

Thanks for the pointer. It looks like bolbitis heteroclita from the pictures I found on the web but my plant is much taller. It is a 3-leaf plant.

The plant is a java fern. It is termed as Microsorum pteropus var. latifolius. I think it's the largest of the java fern family, grows to a maximum height of 40 cm.
Something about the water & the fishes that calms me down.

Trident shape leaf is a trademark of this variant.
