    many of us has had Pistia stratiotes in ponds and aquariums, but I had never seen them flowering.

    why I don't do garden hybrids and aquarium strains: natural species is a history of Nature, while hybrids are just the whims of Man.

    is water lettuce suitable for crs or other shrimps. i know it needs strong light to flower though
