Been searching high and low for these in the NorthEast Area.

Tried Petmart and the surrounding LFS, NKS and its surroundings, and Polyart, no luck at any of them.

Anyone seen them recently, all the LFS storekeeps I spoke to said that they had not gotten them in recently, those that even knew what I was talking about at least.

Thanks! I found a bro in my area willing to part with some of his, but anyone else who has sighted these on sale please do post where.

I'm sure there are others who are sick of seeing snails crawling all over their scapes

Just curious...anyone can testify against it's effectiveness in snail killing? Mine don't seem to hunt much.

I dumped 5 into my 4x2x2 when I noticed pouch snails in there. Within a week, all pouch snails were gone, and I've seen no recurrance since

They definitely work. Loads of empty MTS and ramshorn shells lying around in my tank now Seen them in action quite a few times too. However I noticed they target prey that are slightly smaller than them; they seemed to ignore very small prey.

If there are no snails to eat they will live just fine on Algae, but won't reproduce.

If these snails eat other snails as their main diet, then surely they are carnivores! Therefore, having them long term on algae alone is probably not a good idea.
