Please help to ID this moss on the right side of the tank behind the petite nana. I bought from Seaview in jalan kayu area.

This is the closeup photo. It looks like a bit like singapore moss with some brown roots like growing out.

    moss

It looks to me like it is either a terrestrial moss or one of the common aquarium mosses that has been grown terrestrially making a visual identification somewhat harder, it also looks somewhat like an aquarium moss i have called 'flachmoos'.
By the way i like your cacti in the background, did you graft them yourself? i have a peyote grafted onto san pedro stock next to my tank.
    kind regards,
    Louis Last

I believe the moss used to be on the ground because i have WEEDs growing on it. Looks actually like those from our Singapore carpark moss. (erect moss i don't think so)

Is it common to have people selling Singapore Moss. This is the first time. I tried the actual wild ones before from the carpark but they turned brown and smelly after a week later.

hi bro those shoots you see sticking out are not roots.
The mosses we find here are generally terrestrial and it doesnt fruit when grown submersed.

Those shoots you see sticking out are actually the mosses way of reproduction, the buds will ripe and will produce flowers.

    hope it helps
