pour hot water and scrub them off.. if u more determine, use bleach and wash with anti-chlorine after u r done
Hi Guys!
I used to have a planted tank but it crashed and now my tank is empty. I am thinking of starting the tank again but the problem is the silicon lining the side of the tank is now all green and I can't seem to find a way to get rid of it without damaging my silicon.
ANyone has a suggestion?
Thanks![]

I tried this when cleaning out my breeding tank (for my puffer). Algae was growing like mad (because of my puffer's heavy meaty diet). So I tried immersing the tank in salt solution and Interpet Alg-away (I think that's how it's spelt).
2 days later, [:0] like brand new tank, need to clean off some algae off the tank itself lah, but it comes off very easily.
But it all boils down to: how big is your tank?
for better result you can also get one of those "super sponge" to gently scrub your tank. These japanese sponges really work well! you can get them at NTUC or Coldstorage. cost about $3 to $5
Will the sponge also get trid of water stain?
