Hi Steed,
Please post a clear picture. It could be anything.
Do you notice anything out of the ordinary?
Swimming erratically, breathing fast, cloudy eyes/tail?
What's the water temperature in your tank? If it's a planted tank, most likely the temperature is too cool for it.

Hi Stunchung, please see my discus fish with fin clamped.
It looks like onset of fish TB. Is it feeding? Sunken belly tells me it's not. Big eyes and longish appearance say's it's not doing well. You have to give me a history of when you bought him, roughly the size[length tip to tip] and age it is now.
What variant is this? Looks like a blue diamond/golden/ snow white cross.
It look a little creasy near the anal fin so my guess is around 3 years +.
What I think you can do is to warm up the water to 30-32C. Add some epsom salt 1 teaspoon per 40 L, 1 Metronidazole tablet also per 40 L, Feed it some frozen bloodworms or live brinshrimp if it wants to eat. Change 50% water every day and redose 'metro' to full strength for 3 consecutive days. Wipe down the tank sides every time before WC.
Looks like some hole in the head. Please take a close up sharp picture of the forehead.

Hi StunChung, where can get Metronidazole tablet? Does C328 sell?
I'm not sure about C328-or how are you going to translate it to Auntie. To treat for internal flagellates.
It can be bought in Pharmacy. It treats yeast infection.
A more more powerful wormer is Prazi-Pro. C328 might have this. Give them a call before you head there. Would save you some traveling.

Auntie doesn't know metronidazole, i've asked her You can ask her for Miracle Baby MQ-4. The active ingredient in this medication is Metronidazole. Alternatively, ask for Jungle Labs Internal Parasite Guard. It contains both metronidazole and praziquantel (which is the active ingredient in Prazi-Pro).
Hi Guys, please see the photo, i need help & advice.
Hi Guys, one more photo.
You got to get it eating for sure or it will waste away. Clean warm water 29-30C, 50-90% WC after feeding. Some vitamin B complex to improve it's appetite. Put it in the food and water. You can use some fish vitamins in the BH mix.[sugarless] Dose in the water is also ok but quite a waste. Do all this in bare tank for better control.

HITH[hole in the head] is starting to look bad. The one treatment I have tried and worked is Coppersafe for at least a month. This you definitely have to do in a bare tank.

How long does it take to cure for fungus and hole in the head?
HITH would take months but it should stop showing signs of becoming worse in two weeks.
Fungus should be a few days to a week for it to stop fungusing and again take months for the white patch to regenerate depending on how good the water quality is. The scales if affected would have strange regrowth pattern. If the fish is young it will cover up better.

Bro im looking around for Jungle Labs Parasite clear. Where did you get it from?
the fish in the 2nd and 3rd picture clearly has hole-in-the-head which is caused by flagellates. Metronidazole will fix it up if the fish isn't too far gone. It can be obtained from a pharmacists as Flagyl which is used to treat yeast infections in women. The dose is 5 mg/L. This dose is added on day one. On day two a 50% water change is performed and the dose again added. On the third day the 50% water change is repeated with the addition of another dose. On day four a 50% water change is performed. Alternatively the course can run over seven days with a water change and dose every third day.
If one fish has fish TB then they all do (or can be assumed to). Fish TB grows best at 33 deg C and below. There is an article at http://www.aquarticles.com/articles/...losis_FAQ.html but you are probably better off disposing of the fish and sterilizing the tank and restarting if this is TB. I think treating for flagellates is the first course of action. If it doesn't work then they have TB...
point of clarification guys, metronidazole doesn't treat yeast. it is for a parasite call trichomonas.
so if u want to treat the yeast perhaps methylene blue may be better .
cheers.
