hi guys,
one of my neon tetras have a bloated stomach and i'm suspecting dropsy.
I'm going to perform a quarantine but what kind of medication would you recommend, apart from salt?

With dropsy, curing it is difficult. If the scales have popped, usually the problem is in the advanced stages and therefore very difficult to deal with. Sera Baktopur Direct claims to work on dropsy, but as always, your results may vary.
madnugget, your neon probably has a kinked spine. This is common in some cases. I have no idea why this occurs, but probably due to either genetics, or some problem occurred when the fish was still a fry and growing up.

The fish is acting more lively now, without any medication.
It could be a simple case of constipation, I'll starve it for a couple of days and see if it needs more attention.
