Check carefully if you are buying from Seaview, as most of the time they only are selling spotted rasbora, not brigattae .

Colorful normally has it , check it with the boss.

This is what I think also. So far, I have not seen brigattae in Seaview.

Thanks for the tips, I've been looking for a few of these cute critters too. Will check with Colourful when I stop by next. I didn't see any the last 2 times I was there (1 - 2 weeks ago)

ya last time i went i didnt see, but like malayan shrimps, they keep them in the breeder tanks behind the green curtains. As long as you know what they look like upclose, you should be fine in identifying them.

The fish will probably be very stressed and will not colour up properly until you get them home and into a proper setup.
Currently keeping many wild betta species and other anabantoids.

I totally agreed with this. Those in the LFS could be quite stressed due to improper scooping and heavy traffic. However the colour should recover when they are accustomed to your tank. At least, mine are like tat.

can anyone verify if the fish over at C328 are boraras brigittae? did try to ask the auntie, however she was clueless to what i was saying when i told her the scientific name. btw they are placed in the small tanks just above the gold fishes.

Colourful Aquarium in Balestier has Boraras Brigattae, and Mr Yap will know if you ask him.

I've bought 10 from him so far, and am planning to buy another 10. Very nice little fishies. My CRS seem to enjoy their company!

If u are still looking for this fish, you can go to Y618. They have many. I just got some from them today. Good price, too.

This fish seems to be in season, there are lots now compared to months back. I've lost about 3 of them during the year due to accidents. Otherwise, these fishes are very hardy and look good in nano tanks.
