A Nanas.

i know that planting java ferns into coral sand will kill them but what about nanas ? i've tied one to a rock using sewing string and would like to put a few in front of my tank without being tied to rocks..

I've thrown in and unwanted Nana into a tank with coral sand base...... did not die but did not grow either.
