To grow ricca well you only need to important elements

    1. Strong lights
    2. Good amount of CO2 going to them

with this 2 combination you will need to do frequent trimming...

u need to trim regularly else the bottom which do not receive enough light will start to rot and eventually they will lift or float leaving a big mess

Well what is the point of have floating ricca? Unless you are growing them and selling them off.

Ricca look best when they are on the foreground, tie to stones or driftwood. You will be able to admire the bubbles form and as the bubles floats to the top wow is beautiful.

Alternatively, you can tie the riccia to the highest point of your Dw to get the most of the light.

Yup 110W should be good enough for a 3ft tank to grow riccia... Do make sure you have CO2 too. You will see lots of bubble liao

Btw. I'm using 96W for my 2ft tank to grow riccia liao.

Your light may not be enough. Theres been some discussion that a minimum would be about 2 watts per gallon. You can calculate from there.
