I have a KOI pond and had tried put floating plants in it. But my kois just eat up everything over the 2 days.

Does anyone know of any accessory that can allow to floating plant to trive in the pond?

kois are usually more vegetarian in general.
got to give more than they can eat in order to see some remains.

I have seen people grow lily, lotus, swordplants, cattails in pots and the edge of the pots placed just below the water surface, enough to not let the fish reach the plants.

My pond is about 1.5m deep, and 1.2m wide. So putting potted plants actually not too fesible as it is too deep and narrow for me.

Think of putting floating plants, with a floating right to protect them from the fishes.... Wonder anyone knows if there is such product available in Singapore.

you can't cos the kois eat the roots as well.
in fact they love the roots more than the actual leaves.
