May I know which fish shops sell?

Few months ago, I bought mine in a fish farm but I have problem removing them from the foam of which the roots had deeply embedded in it. Quite silly packing in my opinion. Anyone knows good way to remove the plant in such packing?

    Many thanks.

is it package on foam or those rock wool (did I call it corectly )? Those rock wool are easy to remove, just give them good shake under the water.

Anyway, C328 usually have it. Asked unty to reconfirm. Usualy jap hairgrass (emerse) are much shorter than drawrf hairgrass (emerse). Jap hairgrass emerse leaves is not curl.

It is not rock wool, it is foam (same as basin wash sponge). The roots grew in those sponge pores and I have no clue how to remove the plant without amputate the roots

    Lolo, thanks.

Don't worry too much about amputating the roots as long as there are some left.

Right and lucky of that few strands that now grew into carpet
Anyway, I saw proper packed ones at Keong Seong. It's going at $4 for a fully filled large pot.
    Thank you everyone

i know it is labelled jap hg but those smaller ones at polyart in the small pots also look similar.
    thanks for advice.

Re: Japanese Hairgrass - Where to buy?

    Hi,

Was at polyart and C328 yesterday and say them selling jap hairgrass... can get from there~

But, this time round i notice that the japanese hairgrass is really long.. like almost 2 times the normal jap hairgrass length. Is it normal?.. cause normally in the pass, I thought japanese hairgrass is always short..?

it looks healthy though... just longer than normal..

    any idea??? thanks~

If you lived near to SengKang Area, you can go Seaview at Jalan Kaya to get a pot of Jap hairgrass at a reasonable price. The quantity of the Jap hairgrass is quite worth the money
