It's hard to find locally. Closest I found was a bred whiteseam variant of the common bristlenose at C328. I just saw 1 piece in a HK LFS on Tung Choi Street about 30mins ago...no other LFS here had it either. I think it's really rare as it is, and being end season, it's even harder to find. I may end up buying the one I saw tomorrow for my Tefe biotope tank

They are also known as peppermints. Its amazing how rare they given that they are successfully bred by many in the US and Australia...

The peppermints we have are not L183, no-one knows what they are 100%. Your right about breeding them, I breed the "australian peppermint" very easily and have around 400 fry/juvies growing out at the moment.

Ah... thanks for the clarification... I like the L183 and really regret not getting more of them when they were available in the past...

Wonder if someone can do a MO together with a LFS somewhere to import them in from some of the known breeders...

he said he had ample opportunity to bring them in this season, but declined his supplier because he thought there was no demand. So I'm assuming he knows that there's a demand (I told him there were a few people in AQ interested in this L number) and will bring them in next season.

I think season will start from July or so
