    wats is this aglae doing on my moss wall ??

    how to gt rid of it ??

    then time for yamato anyway this is only short term solution, you need to fix your water parameter.

    can post your tank spec? size, light, fert dossing, CO2 level etc?

    Which is why i've never recommended moss wall as they trap dirt and particles extremely easy.

    Why don't you remove most of it by hand 1st? From the pic it looks kindda slimy?
    Next project: Converting my 3ft freshwater fish planted tank into a shrimp tank.

    Turn off the filter. Use your hand to pat it while having a hose ready to suck the algae.
    This type of algae usually comes from unstable/neglected tank.

    Low light/fertilisation imbalance/overfeeding/overstocking/clogged filter are some of the causes that come to mind.

    just tried using hose to suck it out, now it have but not much already.

    Change water !!!! Change water...!!!...Dont just top up water only without changing water at all for months!!!! In this case, you will only let the harmful chemicals build up in your tank without taking any away at all.

    1 ft planted tank is very difficult to maintain. You may consider changing water every 3 days to overcome algae and stagnant nutrients. Is there CO2 fertilization? If no - CO2 is root cause.
