    January 29, 2009. It rained for more than 24 hours now & the low lying areas in southern Sarawak is flooded again!

    Very high water level (Sungai Maong):





    Flood warning system at the river bank of Sungai Maong. It will sounds the alarm if water level has reached the dangerous level to warn the people to move to higher ground.

    31 January 2009. The water level of Batang Sadong in Serian has receded but yet the low lying areas at Serian are still flooded. Luckily, no heavy rainfall these few days, else it will be worsen.
