    I don't have pictures. It was so tiring that I was resting when the bird was jumping all over my feet. Besides, it was too near, could not achieve focus.

    Thanks, the trilogy of SBG, Red Legged Crake, Orange-headed thrush and the Blue Winged Pitta, hottest birds for CNY, sure hope I can get all 3 of them.

    orange-headed thrush sounds wrong... like something you get when the pitta goes for the worm between your legs...

    Did you get the other 2?
    The other 2 I shot 3 years back. The pitta was the only one that I did not shoot well back then.

    The Crake is a resident bird, very easy therefore leave it for now concentrate on the Thrush !

    I did bring a spare body. But didn't bring extra lens as I use the space for a water bottle instead.

    I had the same problem at JBP that time. Some of the birds are so close to me i can't focus with the 400mm. Hence our discussion on a 2nd body.
