    Took mostly ducks and other stuff as squatting down to wait for small hoppy birds was a Pain-In-The-As*...

    All taken handheld with Canon 40D + 400mm 5.6, except the whip snake (100mm 2.8 macro).

    that duck tail reminds me of a guppy.
    why I don't do garden hybrids and aquarium strains: natural species is a history of Nature, while hybrids are just the whims of Man.

    You got the common kingfisher! Beautiful migratory!

    But the lesser whistling duck looks really unnatural. Was it flapping a wing? Or was there another hidden bird next to it?

    I anyhow shoot bird one... think i should reduce FEC more (now -1 to -1 2/3)....

    The snake usually tanning by the edge of the rainforest in the evening....
