Moss would be the choice of plants you have listed..they don't need high light requirements to grow well...just cold water...[]

MY tank is also 2 foot. And I currently only have taiwan moss and hornwort.... these two do not need the high light power. I'm also only using a single 36W PL with E-ballast.

But I'm considering a plant or 2 of swords...

A single 36W tube will not give you very good spread of light. You can probably grow a light demanding plants right underneath the tube, but use moderate and low light plants in the pheripheral areas.

You might want to consider three 1.5 ft FLs (15W each???) to give you a better spread of light.

    Moss, definitely. Blyxa, possible.
Vincent - AQ is for everyone, but not for 'u' and 'mi'.
Why use punctuation? See what a difference it makes:
A woman, without her man, is nothing.
A woman: without her, man is nothing.

I used to have such a setup. E.tenellus, H.polysperma, H.difformis, Saggitaria, Vallesneria sp. all can grow as well.

i don't want to use 2x15 watts fl cuz it doesn't penetrate well...
i'll use the extendboy 36watts pl light set with the brackets to raise it...
or maybe i'll just get another set...

guys can reccommend more plants for just 36watts for 2ft?
