I doubt yellowish water will affect the plants
hi guys..
i think i have some lighting problems... the plants at the corner of my tank are not bubbling as usual... so today i tried to concentrate my lighting to only the corner and the plants bubbled within mins!
is it time to change the tubes? or is it due to my water? its kinda yellowish due to the driftwood.
and also will plants exprience stunted growth? i think my dd and indica is experiencing it.. haha..
pls advise thanks..
I doubt yellowish water will affect the plants
maybe u should try changing the lighting tubes
wat kinda light tubes u using (FL/PL)? wattage per gal?
pl lighting
76X38X62cm tank with 4X36W PL...
i suspect the corners of the tubes are not bright anymore can anyone verify for me?
the prob with PL is sometimes, the arrangement of the light tube creates dark corners.. especially when the tubes r centralize... the only thing u may wanna do if possible, is reposition the tubes.. the other ways is reposition plants requiring more lights below the lights.. perharps u can try changing the tubes first and decide what to do
How old are the tubes? If they are older than 6 months, replace half of them with new ones. 6 months later replace the other half. There after, replace each tube every year.
