Hi guys, can you recommend any common herbivorous fish found in lfs that feeds on duckweed. I don't want to remove all the plants as my discus enjoy staying under the shade provided by the plant.

I saw duckweed being sold as Goldfish healthfood.
why I don't do garden hybrids and aquarium strains: natural species is a history of Nature, while hybrids are just the whims of Man.

    Warning... goldfish crap a LOT.
Vincent - AQ is for everyone, but not for 'u' and 'mi'.
Why use punctuation? See what a difference it makes:
A woman, without her man, is nothing.
A woman: without her, man is nothing.

    I do not reccomend Goldfish..
They produce lots of waste, are always bumping into things, and are coldwater species (though will live in warmer water).
I also do not reccomend silver dollars. they are very active, and could disturb any quiet species (ie discus, angelfish). They will also eat all of your plants, not just duckweed.
Duckweed is on the surface of your water right? Just scoop it off with a net..
Currently keeping many wild betta species and other anabantoids.

    Wks,

With Goldfish introduced into your tank, I think you will need to change your tank water more often as they can dirty your tank very easily...
