maxz: what's the price like and for what amount?
Simon: yeah.. wanted to "kop" some from my neighbour cos they are renovating... but i thought i might want to vary the shape easily so the tiles are out for me.

I think the mesh are quite x. I plan to use the plastic mesh (8mm holes) and cover it with stretchable nylon netting (previously used to hold garlics from the supermart). These plastic mesh are much cheaper, can be cut to required shape and sizes and they also sink. I think you can buy them in smaller-sized holes (mine was purchased to make moss wall).

If anyone try this please report the results. thanx.
why I don't do garden hybrids and aquarium strains: natural species is a history of Nature, while hybrids are just the whims of Man.

You can also use the netting and tie it with large garden stones...

    Hi Oqs

I just got the wire mesh fr Sungei Road. Sorry i don know the name of the shop, but it's blk 30 along kelantan road. The shop specialises only in wire mesh & there's other hardware shops beside it where u can get the e-ballast & dat sort of stuff.

I got mine at $7 per foot. Now it's holding down my riccia. Make sure u ask for the stainless steel type.

    Hope the abv helps...

When I was at Capricorn, the plant farm at Pasir Farmway, I ever asked a lady there and she told me it's $1 per piece. You may want to confirm by calling.

    Apologies....it's 1x3ft.
& as mentioned by Yes, it may vary according to the size of the holes (but i doubt the variation in price is huge...the one i got & the next slightly larger hole was priced the same)
