    Here is my new Office Tank setup []

    Here are the Specs

    • Date Started : February 14, 2003
    • Tanks Size : 30 x 22 x 17 cm
    • Tank Volume : 11.12 liters / 2.77 gallons
    • Lighting : 11 watts Oceanfree PL lights
    • Filteration : Atman AT-F302 Power Liquid Filter
    • Substrate : 2.5 inches
    • Temperature 22 to 26 C
    • pH Value : 7 to 8
    • Co2 : DIY
    • Water Change : 50% once every two weeks


    Plants
    • The one on the right is called Nanas
    • The BG wall is called Christmas moss or x moss for short
    • Foreground is Elatine triandra
    • The rest not to sure

    Fishes

    No Fish instead I will be breading Red Cherry Shrimps

    Thanks man its at the back I'm using NutraFin and i was very amazed with it the buble rate is not too bad. And the moment I install it it bubbles immediately i dont need to wait for hr. [] hope it goes well

    yap its for easy planting leh. actually I made a mistake at 1st only buy 3 kg then decided to add more for easy planting []

    cyber joe, the plant at the background, leftside, looks like a cryptocoryne wenditti...but I might be wrong..nice setup anyway! Do post a update when the APP grows!

    Are you using base fert in your tank? If not i afraid your substrate may turn black and stink later. IMO, it is better to reduce the substrate level to 1.5 inches if there is no base fert added.

    Just my $0.02 worth.

    I only used sticks for my base fert

    It a bit to late already anyway just try my luck

    yea, very neat, and well concealed...thinking of using that co2 system for a 1 feet tank, for my study desk. It lasts 1 month right?

    You're really lucky. For me, there no way I can have the tank in my office. It's already not suitable for human being and yet we have to work long hours. I really envy you and your fishes in there..... I'm not as luckly as comapared to your fishes ....

    hey pipsqueak ssshhhhhh...... i work in the tallest building in Singapore....


    Why not just do it every lunch time But for me i can do muti tasking can do planting and do my work at the same time. Most of my co workers like it they keep on asking me how much and how i do it. [] And specially my boss keep on complimenting me and to best of all to releave stress!!!![] from work.

    Taking advantage of free aircon no need chiller []

    It like this:

    Tank : $20
    Lights :$23
    Filter : $12
    Sand : $12
    Plants : about $12 some recycle from my home tank
    CO2 : $30

    wow about $100 also


    Still no fish and Fert cost

    using Aqua Lush Grow from Dr M.....

    100? quite cheap liao leh .. consider my office's 1.5ft, spent about $250 in total.. burn hole in pocket..
