    Hi all,

    Just to check, will people/ forumer do this?
    heard from this uncle when i was at my coy canteen, he say he was very expert at planted tank. he state. alot of people just pour all chemical/fert with switching off the filter system. all fert will react with filter blah blah blah and plant get zero. hence the algae..
    is this true? myself, i just pour with filter system on. for feeding bloodworm i will off the filters only.
    anyone???

    not true, I don't see the point why need to switch off the filter.

    Slightly make sense if you put activated carbon in your filter, but then you need to turn off through out the photo periode
