    i just got this plant from my LFS. not sure if the plant (red in colour) is a aquatic plant. uncle robin highlighted to me that it might no be...or worse not at all.

    is this some kind of Ludwigia family?

    there's the plant in a tank (taken from aquapage.wz.cz) right most picture and it says ludwigia repens...

    Sad to say I don't think your plant is belong to Ludwigia family.

    It looks like some caladium species. It does not look like a aquatic plant.
    Pls confirm from the place where you purchased it, if it is caladium species, pls remove it. Caladium leaves are poisionous to animals and can harm them , also it will not live long when fully submerged.

    woah. got duped. haha. well. threw away all the plants in the tank already.. changed to jave fern. thanks for the help guys!

    Why do your lights look pink?
    What spectrum are you using?
    Currently keeping many wild betta species and other anabantoids.

    i was using the aquatic tube i bought from my LFS "chilired" colour, thus making my red plant look pink
