bubbling plants

Hey all,

When plants bubble, does it necessarily mean the plants are healthy?

My plants don't seem to bubble at all.

No not necessarily. quite often if you have a tear or a hole in your leaf, you will find your plant bubbling...

The lack of bubbling may or may not be a problem. More importantly, are your plants healthy and are they growing well... bubbling while being beautiful to look at, is not really a precursor of healthy plants...

As for the lack of bubbling in your tank specifically, look through the beginners info sheet at the top of the forum and fill in the info... perhaps we can help you spot whats wrong or not wrong in your tank.

To judge the health, just monitor the growth rate and look out for symptoms of nutrients deficencies.
