benny, firstly, I like what u doing.. name yr fishes.. can see how sentimental u are to fishes well-done.. though, I never had rams, I think it isnt a sign...
I saw one of my RAM-"Orange" keep following another one - "spikey".
"Orange" keeps chasing away any other RAMs that come close to "spikey", just like a man would chase away other potential suitors.
Is "orange" male, spikey "female", and this is a some kind of a courtship?

the male ram will chase the female around and prevent other rams from getting near her.
once the female accepts the male and is ready to spawn, her belly will turn reddish.
then when u see her digging a pit or cleaning a piece of pebble/rock surface, confirm going to spawn. then better to remove other rams n leave the pair alone.

interesting ...
Update u again when something really happens
Hi
I had just started a small Ram tank in my office, currently holding 2 small female Rams about 3cm with abit of reddish spots on the tummy. I plan to intro my dominating male Ram at home now to the 2 females coz this fellow keep harrassing all the fishes in my comm tank including neons,Sae and another male Ram
Would like to know whats the temperature for them to breed? and other necessary steps?
Thanks alot!
