Hi all, took some pics of my tank after water became clearer recently.

Can anyone id the tall plant with red top leaves? Bought it from genx sometime ago, look through oriental catalogue but cannot find a match. Thanks

    Chaq,

Nice. Do consider adding some more red plants to compliment the red of the aro. Can use the red plants to create a focus too... now the tank is a very uniform shade of green. How big is the aro now? It's a red?
Vincent - AQ is for everyone, but not for 'u' and 'mi'.
Why use punctuation? See what a difference it makes:

    Hi Vinz,

Ok thanks, what red plants do you suggest? lotus? I tot of removing a little of the hygrophilla on the left, and some more red plants.Maybe trim some of the ludwiga and add there.

The e quads are running all over the tank. Not like yours so neat. []

Yep, its a red at about 8 - 9 inches.

Lotus is not a bad choice. They make great 'umbrellas' for the aro to rest under too. Some Crypts for some browns or darker greens... C. wendtii and C. Becktii are easy.

My E. quads are the way they are cause I trim out the smaller plants once in a while. I find it especially useful to remove all the runners growing along the glass.

I got some C. wendtii behind the E. Quads but the latter are growing so fast, it's blocking the crypts :P Anyways, i didnt know the crypts can grow so big until i saw your tank pics. Thanks for the suggestions.
