"our" waters meaning Australian waters? or...
I bashed recently through a jungle once late last year and happen to spot najas indica (a rather large bunch, about 2 metres in diameter, could be more)in the water by chance. I did not see clearly at first as I thought they were dead branches as they were covered in brown algae. So are they local or alien to our waters?

Singapore, sorry, was still in Singapore for most part of last year.
Where do you happened to see them?
The role of master and servant begin to cloud in the water..
Used to see huge swathes of them at Lower Seletar Reservoir. Those at the surface will blush a nice red even.
