Cycling fish

I'm just about to add fish to my new 20 gallon planted tank, and I was wondering if anybody had any recommendations. I was thinking about 3-4 Zebra Danios, or Cardinal Tetras - Are these going to be ok?

Sure everything's gona be ok if ur 'parameters' are right.....
Try to do some water tests and if ur gona put in cardinals, check out their their water compatibility like soft,acidic water and stuffs...

Yeah.... as above, chk properly before adding cardinals...

But zebras are a good choice for cycling too..... Although if possible, I'd rather you make it simpler for yourself and get 5 - 7 mollies or platies...these would be much hardier and would cycle a 20 gallon faster... (more ****, hehehe)

actually I suggest you buy the fish you actually want to keep but in slow quantities. cos tank cycling is a ongoing process.

eg: you cycle the tank with 10 danios now. but in future, if you increase your fish load to eg: +50 cardinals , it will also cycle, (ie: there will be an ammonia spike followed by nitrite spike..) however it will not be as dangerous as a totally new tank setup

I actually added 4 White Clouds and I think i will add Cories in a couple of weeks.
