using it. bought from keong seong. yellow box I think. looks ok. feels ok. no heat from selenoid.

how much did u guys get it for? it has a timer right?
The solenoid regulator does not come with a timer.
you can get "theben" timer (one of the better ones) around $20 at most hardware stores

yup but not jbj.. its another taiwan brand with germany solenoid.. same price as jbj..
didnt get jbj cause i wanted a regulator with 2 gauges.. petmart only has the one with a single gauge
I used to have a taiwanese regulator, Mr. Aqua brand. Blew and killed all my fishes(shared this before).
I returned to the LFS and it took them 3 months to get back to me. They said they have 3 or 4 returns for Mr. Aqua regulator... seemed to have a problem with this brand. The boss replaced me with a JBJ regulator. I have yet to install the regulator... will probably do so tonight.
Just sharing some experience with taiwanese regulator.

considering that its using a made in germany selenoid, no point having a shoddy regulator portion right...

anyway, in my case, I have a backup, should the selonoid be fault when its lights off I have an air pump running to degas on a timer as well
Any idea where got sell spare JBJ solenoid anot? and how much? (I just want the solenoid component not the whole works thanks!)
