4ft tank.... hmmmm...... Sam, need more info e.i. width and the height to derive the total volume. From there, we will know whether lights acieves 3W/g.
    Cheers!!

Your tank is around 95g. So in order to acieve 3W/g you'll need at least 285W. I have the same tank dimension and I'm using 2X150W MH.
    Cheers!!

Yesturday, I was at Keong Seong (Havelock), I saw a very nice set of MH light for 4ft. It is made in China. It is desgined to be placed on top of the tank and the stand will support the lamp about 8" above the tank.

I am tempted to change my existing 3 sets of flourescent lights with that MH, my only concern is the heat produce by the MH.
