    Hi All,

Most regulators from ROC are inconsistent. Are the German brands, Dupla or Dennerle, better? Can anyone recommend a good one.

    Simon,

Quality they have without doubt but do they perform? My ROC regulator modified with a Bioplast needle valve requires me to fiddle with the knob once in a while to keep the bps the way I want. FRUSTRATING MAN!!

regulator and needle valves works differently.
so i doubt you can use either one to compensate the shortfall of the other.
i see the regulator as being the more important as a failure on this part will dump all the co2 available into the tank.

i think if the regulator is unable to maintain a fixed output pressure, you'll no tbe able to maintain a constant bps even with the best needle valve money can buy.
