I realised one of my wild discus isnt eating anymore and is hiding. His poo is white in colour and i know this has to be internal worm/parasite. However, everything i remove the discus to a spare tank with sponge filter, and add in the medication, it gets worse...any recommendations how to save this discus?thanks alot.

Have you tried using metronidazole and powering up the heater to 90% for up to 7 days. I would also recommend using prazi and what would work best to start deworming these internal worms would be levamisole.

try Jungle Labs Internal Parasite Guard. Metronidazole is good for bacterial and protozoan infections, but some other parasites such as tapeworm and other worms are not treated by Metronidazole. Jungle Labs Internal Parasite Guard contains Praziquantel too, which treats such worms. I've used it to quarantine all my wild discus and angelfish and have no problems

True to what Illumnae said, but if you haven't tried qt your fishes then I would start at the beginning. I'm not sure if you guys carry Lemaisole but w/ metro you would need to power you heater up slowly for 7 days and drop it back down. What I do w/ my discus when I first get it I hit it w/ Levamisole then a 7 days period of heater at 90 w/ metro then Levamisole again then prazi-pro for 7 days a last final dose of levamisole then prazi-pro for 14 more days and finishing it off w/ fluke tabs for 7 days straight. Everyones qt procedure is different this is just mine. Hope this helps, Good Luck.
