Got an opportunity to shoot this beautiful (and rare) spider during the weekend. This spider is a master of disguise and can really blend into the environment it is in. Enjoy.

Thanks guys. Was lucky to be able to see this at least once. I heard it's a very rare spider in Singapore.

Yup, this is the one you mentioned to me. Anyway, sure we can go shoot sometime. But I'll be free only after first week of May. Going Fraser Hill.

Re: Litter crab spider (Borboropactus sp.)

I'm going with NPSS people on their annual Fraser Hill trip. I'm not sure about researchers. The only researcher I know which may be going is YiXiong. Such, will be concentrating on macros. Especially at night when the tarantulas come out and play.

Re: Litter crab spider (Borboropactus sp.)

Yeah, that happen to us to when we were shooting. We were moving around to get the best angle and all of a sudden someone asks where's the spider. And then we realize it's still at the same place.
