    Hey bros,

Anyone like me, having problems with angelfishes pulling out hairgrass? Any methods to resolve the problem?

    Regards,

hi desmond, maybe you want to stop feeding them with flakes as flakes may have fallen into the HG. And they think there is food inside. Either way, they think there are shrimps hiding in the HG. This happen to my botia who thinks bloodworms are growing in the moss after I overfeed the bloodworms and it got drop into the moss.

You could also put some kind of mesh over it and weight it down on the corners, then once your HG has a good rooting system going and is sprouting healthy runners, then you can remove the mesh and the roots should keep it will put down.

    Re: Hairgrass

    Hi bros,

Thanks for your replies. My angels are a pair of Albino Red-heads, they are about 3" long and 4" tall. Recently, I realise they don't pull the hairgrass out for nothing, they are simply eating the hairgrass!.. haha.. and I got Echindorus Tenellus as well and they are bitting and chewing it too! But I think Tenellus roots grow deeper and so they can't pull it up. But hairgrass is terrible...

    Re: Hairgrass

Haiz, its just a thin line between underfeeding and overfeeding. But I think I feed enough, got a feeling that angels will never be full.. Will try feeding them more, but scare later algae bloom.
