either you damage the stem when you plant it or just converting from emerse to submerse.
The soil should provide enough macro fert for now.
Need some help here~~
Set up my 1 ft tank 3 days ago.
Planted the foreground with glosso but they seem to be melting any possible reason for this?
Temp-24-26C air con cooled
DIY CO2 1 bps
Substrate:GEX red packet
ferts:seachem flourish(1 ml daily) and excel
lighting:1x 24 watt PL
Is it cause i lack macro ferts?Or they are just settling into my tank?
Help greatly appreciated~

I did not know that glosso stems are easily damaged!!
Anyway will see how it does over the next few days. Thanks alot shadow, you have been great help
well actually not that easy but it does possible if you squeeze your tweezer to tight.
hahahaanyway seeing some new sprouts already!!But it comes with some BBAreduced my lighting and overdosed seachem excel hope they go away!
Hi, mine is a small nano tank and I also have the similar problem. They were nice and healthy during the 2-3 days quarantine period in a small container. But once I put it into my nano tank, it starts to rot within 1-2days. My water temperature typically is about 30-31degC, especially when the light is on. Is it too hot for the plants? I also did use Flourish / Excel and substrate is GEX red.
hmm..seems like your temp a little high?i am not too sure either as i also new in the hobby~anyway my glosso has since settled down and are growing ok...just that they seem to be growing up and not horizontallymight be due to the layer of protein...might get a HOF with skimmer soon
YA I suspect it may be my temperature is too high too. Just bought a small fan and will try and see if can lower the temperature alittle.
Can any sifu advise whether should the fan be ON whole day, or can I connect it with my light timer which is about 10hrs ON a day?
Thanks for all advise
