altogether 180W, you are about there if we adhere to 3W/G. Before you begin, find out about the requirements and considerations for growing your desired plants, good to go!

Too much light isn't going to help your plants, its just like trying to eat 10 plates of chicken rice, you probably puke at the 5th plate.

Calculating your tank size, it's about 71g. With your current lite rating.... you're achieved 2.5W/g. To add some more lights depends on the plants you have. If they are doing well, you dun have to have additional lighting. Adding another 36W would give you 3W/g.

Juz a word of advise... If it ain't broken, don't fiz it.
    Cheers!!

    thks guys

i am starting my first planted tank.so far i have a already have the lights tank and stand and jbl base fert and gravel bought from na.next i will get the full co2 system.i have 2 ASTRO canister filter one small and the other largest one.both have ceramic rings and eheim substrate.the small one will be hook up to TOMMY protein skimmer.the big one is the bio.

wat i have in mind is to plant glosso and hairgrass as the foreground as much as possible to covered the tank follow by middle plant and stem plant use for back ground.reason for doing tt try to plant as much as possible so as to have the plants absorb the nutrient and dun let algae have the chance.my budget for co2 system about sgd 350 - 400

    1)Am i doing the right thing ?
2)is my canister to KIASU or just nice?
    3) will my light be enough for hairgrass
    and glosso?
4)which part of the co2 system should i get
    i know the canister
get the local one with soxal approved.
then wat about the regulator solenoid
    bubble counter flipper etc?
