I tried lace plant once but it was no successful. Is it true that it needs cool water to survive? On the APD, someone was mentioning that perhaps lace and crypto has some form of sym-biotic relationship. Do you have your lace grow with some form of crypto such that their root space interlock?

it would be quite unlikely to have lace plant and crypto forming a symbiotic relationship as lace plants are from madagasca and crypto mostly from India/SEA. Of course not impossible as crypto does occur in madagascar (I think), just improbable.
