Securing Riccia

Just wondering how do i secure riccia properly, I've tried tying it on wire mesh and rock with fishing line but after a month the growth went hay wire and eventually detach itself from the mesh or rock.

whats the right way to secure it without it coming out all the time

A net would hold them better. Make sure the holes are big enough for the Riccia to grow through.

what the ideal holes size to get for wire mess and net?

any special tips on maintaining riccia? i had used up all my riccia tying them on SS mesh w netting over it and now i have collected a lot of them back floating on the water surface..
