fill up the vail to 5ml and then drop the KH solution in it until turn to orange color. The number of drops = KH level.
    I.e. 5 drops = 5dKH

    Hi Mark,

I thought the Sera kH test kit changes color from blue to green to yellow?

    Cheers,
I have dwarf cichlids in my tanks! Do you?

The colour thing works like this...

Drop the KH solution until the colour is similar to the reagent. I.e. if the reagent is brown/orange in colour, keep dropping until the solution turns orange/brown. The first colour is usually way different from the final, so no way you can get it missed up.

E.g. (using arbitary colours, cos I can't remember the exact ones).

The reagent is brown. Your first drop turns the water green, keep dropping until the colour turns to a colour very different from green and very similar to the reagent (ie. yellow, orange, brown).
Vincent - AQ is for everyone, but not for 'u' and 'mi'.
Why use punctuation? See what a difference it makes:
A woman, without her man, is nothing.
A woman: without her, man is nothing.
