    Problem with stem plants rotting off at the bottom. After time will find plants floating on the surface of tank. Any help?

    regular trimming. It rot because light cannot reach the bottom.

    Im using 2x24W T5HO lightings for my 2ft. (1x 24W Arcadia plant pro + 1x Osram 24W daylight)

    Stem plants are Ludwigia Arcuata, Ludwigia Repens and Ludwigia Brevipes.

    Some stem plants require a certain amount of iron. Maybe dosing iron will help.

    Although been keeping fishes for a long time, im still quite a noob on plants. Will take note of that.
