I used to have blue lights in the tank or they call it moonlight . You should be able to see some actions if the room is pitch dark with only the blue on .

Hi Silane,
Sorry, but I just had to chuckle over your question.
What do H. zebra do? First thing I thought of was, Think of seeing polar bears in a snow storm and you will have a good idea. The young specimens are persistent hiders. When I kept 5 I only saw them when I would pick up the small piece of wood they all hid under.
I did begin seeing more of them as they approached maturity but I sold them shortly after. That is something I have come to regret now that I have been breeding L134, L260 and L333. I was down to only 2 due to a terrible accident that resulted in loosing 3 of them. I guess that hurt too much and the last 2 were a reminder of my failure to avoid an avoidable accident. I crushed them.
L46 are quite difficult to breed unless the water parameter and environment are idea. They are extremly active in the night.
Female L46 is normaly larger than male. However, female is usually weaker than male.
