Hi, anyone can tell me what algae is this and how to get rid of it the safe way? Seems to hold on to my plants and woods like super glue.

This is Black Brush (Beard) Algae

oh...I used to have tons of these algae when I first started on my 6ft tank.

In the end had to pyhsically take the plants out and dip in bleach for a few seconds to kill the algae. Now I hardly got this problem anymore even when my bio-load is heavy. Weekly 1/3 water change and also I planted more fast growing plants. Last time only planted Nanas and all of them infested with this algae.
