i am decommissioning a small spare tank...
it has a fair bit of gravel which i do not wish to pour away...

does anybody has a good/easy/simple way to dry up this lot of gravel so that i can keep it for future use?

simplest way is to dry the water from the tank and leave the gravel inside to dry for a few days befor packing up and storing.

another one is to put it in a basket with newspaper underneath to dry first.

I spread the gravel out on a few sheets of newspaper, on the floor in an airy area or where the sun will shine on it (balcony) and let it dry over a few days. Usually I rake it with my fingers each night to expose the wetter gravel below.

If you sleep in aircon room, put the gravel in the room with you... the drier air should help.

However, I still like to have the gravel bake under the sun for a few hours before storing it.

Why use punctuation? See what a difference it makes:
A woman, without her man, is nothing.
A woman: without her, man is nothing.
