must i remove uneaten hikari algae wafer?

just wonder does the uneaten hikari algae wafer dissolves in water and makes it bad for the fishes?? Really v interested to know coz its v irritating to keep removing the wafer after releasing it into e water >< thanks for all your help!

Uneaten foods will be contribute to high ammonia which may be bad for your livestocks. After a few hours, you may see alot of snails appearing feeding on the uneaten foods. Then the Snail and slug/worm population will bloom. What I do recommend is to break the algae wafer to smaller pieces and feed the amount that your livestocks can consume within the few next hours and not overfeed. Another way is to remove the uneaten foods.

Yeap, that's what I do too. Break it into small pieces so that everyone will have their share. No fighting over the same big piece....
