    Hi.
I'd just collected my drift wood from Teo's this afternoon. Sent there to have some moss and riccia planted. Took me about a month to get it back.

Realised that there are some water fleas (I think?) running around the surface of the moss. 3-4mm sized, brownish coloured with many legs. Jumps around when out of water.

How to get rid of them. I have a mini puffer. Can the fellow work? Advice pls

Dragon nymph are carnivores....they will go for your small fishes or shrimps as food source if you don't remove them!

dragon fly nymph have a small projectile like limb in their mouth called a "labia" (I think), they can launch this out a bit like a harpoon to spear fish, and slowly pull the fish in. At least thats what I read on the net some time back.

The bugs I get from stuff I buy from Teo's usally dissappear after a few days. Haven't had the luck to find a dragonfly nymph... would love to keep one till it morphs to a d-fly. great for my urbanised neices and nephews too. Separately, of course... wonder if it'll eat frozen bloodworms and mossie nymphs.

Why use punctuation? See what a difference it makes:
A woman, without her man, is nothing.
A woman: without her, man is nothing.

I only notice that dragonfly nymph exists in my tank when I found a dead dragonfly beside my tank. Beside the dead dragonfly lies a empty case which shaped like the nymph. After searching through my tank, I managed to find another live dragonfly nymph.

    you are right
it is probably something like a 'scud'
some form of fw aquatic crustacean
your fish will eat them unless the fish are very big
    don't worry

    cheers
