hi simon, thanks for ur compliments. i love the moss too. but right now, i've no space for more of it. cos i'm new to this hobby, had the syndrome of wanting to try out every plant that looks nice. heehee. still waiting for the chance to try out the red tiger lotus. but my tanks really full now... was thinking of putting it under the 'bridge' u think it'll fit? do toninas grow tall eventually? cos i was thinking of keeping it there if it does. dun wan to do too much changes right now. The growth rate has been about an inch per month. Is this considered slow?

Btw, how does a member submit his pics into the ‘my tank’ gallery? Does mine qualify? heehee

tonina grow tall, but easy to maintain them, as they aint super fast.. if u like shorter / midground plants, perharps u can try lobelia, blyxa (be warn they get very bushy)

u can email me the tank details and the pix, pls refer to the format in the gallery

Hi mandz, nice tank, esp the wood with moss. Is that dd behind the Wood? The tonnia looks flat to me..maybe some height difference? Like a shorter tonnia in front and slightly tallers one behind like a bowling pin position.

    Hi Mandz,

Terrific looking tank. How do you maintain the Carbomba ? They'll get pretty long and irritates the entire set-up when the length starts to get while. Cutting them away usually getting them to grow away from ' a straight line' which looks a little funny.

I've removed away most of mine only keeping them to only 3 stalks. If you could teach me a trick or 2 ?

    Thanks.

hi unicorn. thanks for ur compliments. these carbomba do grow extremely fast and needs trimming every 2 weeks...
nothing special... i read somewhere that u should cut away the bottom parts and replant the top part when u do trimming.
