I'm using it for my 2ft tank. Works fine and the only prob is that i cant fine tune the bubble rate (it drops from 3-4 bubbles/sec to 0.25 bubbles/sec in 48hrs). Forumers suggested that i add an additional needle valve but i havent found 1 yet. What to do? i just adjust every now and then loh.

Frankly, i would just DIY if it is a 1ft tank. I'm using DIY CO2 for my low light 1.5ft setup. (Some1 correct me if this is wrong) 0.5-1 bubble/sec should be sufficient for a small tank rite?

My 2footer's CO2 is on 24/7 at a slow rate to a diffuser. "Slow" as in 2-4 bps, I think, since there's no counter hooked up yet and is left running at night. Don't forsee any problems there either.

As for cylinder emptying out, when I don't see bubbles, I know it's time to refill
I'm back & keeping 'em fingers wet,

Errrrrr... it should not, with a good regulator.

The regulator should have one or two guages. Ask the LFS owner, they can explain to you what they mean. If you can, go to Nature Aquarium, Mr. Chan can help you.
Vincent - AQ is for everyone, but not for 'u' and 'mi'.
Why use punctuation? See what a difference it makes:
A woman, without her man, is nothing.
A woman: without her, man is nothing.

I am using the manual regulator on one of my 1 FT tank 24/7 too. Actually, it can be 'fine tune' to 1 BPS or less depending on your control skill[] . I fix it directly into the intake of the external filter. Filter still working till this day if you worry[:]. Shrimps are doing well too. I do my own filling when CO2 runs out[] [] .
