Nice tanks, esp the 2nd one. African setup? Are the occupants gonna be Discuses? (whats the plural of a discus?)

1st tank is 4ft and 2nd is 2ft. The later is for a pair of Apisto.

Nice... but looks really neat. Just did a pruning/rescaped? What happened to your APP in the 4 foot? Is that H. corymbosa "stricta" in the right back? What is in the front left, dwarf sag?

I like the 2 ft too. Whats the W/Gal? I'm still expecting an old man to walk out from under the "giant roots".

I like the simple setup for the 2ft. Nice driftwood. I am sure the apistos will like it. Cheers!

I like the 2 feet very much too. The tree root makes it very natural. Anywhere I can source for these roots?

i believe the 'rooty' feel was achieved by stacking several pieces of elongated driftwood together, look closer.

    I like the first tank.
Very nice, what size tank you got there, and what sort of lighting thanks.

Mark, you have a pretty nice setup. I like the background of your 4ft. Nice sloping effect. Very healthy too.

But... the foreground is a bit un-natural. The rectangle pieces of mesh of riccia don't seem to fit in. E. tennulus may give you a more natural look. E. triandra or glosso will be good too.

2nd tank 2 feet! If teo's has drift wood like that to fit in a 2 feet, i'm going there next time. Its hard to find a really nice piece(s) of wood to fit in a 2 feet without compromising space.

thank you all for your feedback. The 4ft has just been rescaped. The APP was removed cuz girlfriend like ricca. So trying out ricca as foreground.

The 2ft tank uses a main driftwood as the centre piece and the others stacked on it. The sand is not from LFS.

I am thinking of getting more nana, Simnply irresistable.

Yeah, nanas are great once they grow a lot of leaves... but sooooooooooo slow.

Next time, ask your gf to tie the riccia when it starts to float up... then see what she say.
